Thank you for your participation in our recent survey. We were thrilled to have so many of you participate and share helpful insights into the life of our church. Your responses have set a baseline for us (we plan on conducting a similar survey towards the end of the Spring semester) and help us better understand some of our strengths and weaknesses.
Below is a helpful summary of the comments submitted (produced via an AI summary generator):
The feedback from members reveals a generally positive sentiment regarding community and care within the church, though challenges exist, particularly in connecting within a larger congregation. In responses, members highlighted how consistent communication from leadership, opportunities for prayer, and support from fellow members have fostered a sense of belonging. However, some mentioned difficulties in forming connections due to the church’s size, indicating that while there is a strong foundation for community, additional efforts could help bridge gaps for those who feel less connected.
Regarding interactions with church leaders and avenues for service, members expressed a mix of satisfaction and desire for growth. Many have built meaningful relationships with elders or parish leaders and feel comfortable reaching out when needed, while others noted limited interaction. Members also shared insights into using their skills within the church, often citing life groups and volunteer efforts as fulfilling service outlets. However, there’s a sentiment that more structured pathways could further enhance opportunities for involvement, helping members feel more integral to the church's mission and community life.
We are encouraged and yet we recognize there is room for growth. To that end, we pray that God would grow our attentiveness and care for one another. Our Elders, Deacons, and Staff will utilize the survey data to further "equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ (Eph 4:12), as we "consider how to stir up one another to love and good works" (Heb 10:24).
To God be the glory!
