NOTE: Our grounds and facilities are only available for use by Chapel Hill Bible Church ministries, as well as ministries with whom we have an on-going partnership. As a result, we are unfortunately unable to accept new partnerships.
The facilities (building and grounds) of the Chapel Hill Bible Church are a tool for ministry for us. We want to bring glory to God and promote the gospel through the use of our facilities.
Other than weddings, all events must take place within CHBC building hours:
• Monday thru Thursday 9 am – 9 pm;
• Friday 9 am – 2:30 pm and 6:45 – 10 pm;
• Saturday 9 am – 12 pm.
This includes set-up and clean-up time. These hours are dependent on our own building use. If we are going to be closed, or are closing early, then we will not schedule your event.
If you want to check the calendar for availability before you submit a request, please check the church calendar.
NOTE: This calendar is not comprehensive, but will give you an idea of major facilities uses that are planned. Do not assume that your dates are going to be OK based on checking this calendar. You will still need to request space and have it confirmed through the normal process.
To help serve all that use this facility, we ask you to comply with our facility guidelines (available upon request).
Full payment is due before the day of the reservation. If you need to cancel, we request a 24 hour (business day) notice. If your cancellation is less than one day before your event, we may not be able to refund your fees paid.
This is only a request, not a contract. Do not assume that the room is reserved until you have received confirmation from a CHBC staff member.
Unless you are requesting space for a Bible Church ministry event (Youth Retreat, Deacon meeting, etc.) rooms cannot be requested more than 90 days in advance. If you submit a request prior to the 90 days, it will be returned to you. The only exceptions are weddings, which we will book 9 months in advance. If you are planning an event that you think might warrant our considering it farther than 90 days in advance, please contact us to discuss it.
Please give first and second choice of days of the week and dates if possible – our building is increasingly busy and many requests cannot be accommodated on their first choice date.
If you are planning an event in the Sanctuary which will require A/V or stage support we must have at least 3 weeks notice in order to be reasonably sure that we will have A/V staff available. If your request is within that timeframe, please contact Colin Rowley to discuss your A/V and stage needs.
