A note from Roddy!!
Dear CHBC Youth,
I hope you have all had a great Summer and a smooth transition
into the new school year. I wanted to share with you that
Katie and I are really excited about moving up there and getting
to know each of you. We are so eager to get to hear your stories,
hang out with you and your friends and walk with you on our journey
of faith. We are also really excited to get to serve with
your incredible youth staff and volunteers!
Please know that I am praying for you daily! I ask that
you will pray for us, too. I look forward to being with
you guys in a few weeks.
PS. I hope you will join us on our retreat to Camp Hanes
on October 19-21.

Sunday mornings:
Middle School Sunday School: 9:30 am Rooms 120-122- This semester
we will be covering a series called “The Power of God”.
High School Sunday School: 9:30 am Rooms 114-116- The first couple
weeks this semester we will be discussing “Walking With God” led
by Walker Hicks.
Sunday evenings:
The Rock (for Middleschoolers), 7-8:30pm, in rooms
114-116
Common Ground (for High schoolers), 7-8:30pm,
in rooms 120-122
Our first Youth Group will be Sunday, September 9th!!! We
are going to be having a Carnival to “kick off” the
new school year!!! Come ready to eat some pizza, paint
some hand prints, play some awesome carnival games, and eat some
ice cream!!! Everyone is invited to come at 6:45
(15 minutes before our usual 7:00 start time) to eat pizza!!!

Volunteers:
Do you love hanging out with high school and middle school students?
Does the idea of eating marshmallows and then drinking a coke as fast
as you can really excite you? Or do you have just one hour a day that
you would love to devote to a small group of students and show them
what community and the love of God is? If so, please contact any of
the Youth Staff below.
