Young Adults Ministry

Greetings from the Young Adults of the CHBC! We are glad you found us on the web.

The Young Adults is committed to growing through intentional community, intentional worship, and intentional mission. By community we mean that we are diverse by intention. We are a group that is single and married, grad and career, and multiethnic. We learn best when others challenge our perspective on life. We also want our lives to be centered around worship. We want the songs we sing on Sunday morning to be our heartbeat throughout the week. Therefore, we are intentionally moving toward opening ourselves to God so that he might shape our thoughts, desires, and actions. Finally, we desire that our lives be given to God’s mission. We want God’s call to direct our steps as we seek justice in our broader community and extend mercy to those around us.

If you are interested in furthering a community like this, then come out and join us. We meet every Sunday at 11:05 in room 255 for Sunday class. Our class is a low key environment where you can meet others and ask questions about what it means to follow Jesus in community, worship and mission.

No matter if you are a follower of Christ or not, we would love for you to come and join us as we explore ways to deepen our community, worship and mission together.
