Warren and Miriam Rich

Rich_2008

Warren is a dentist with the Kijabe Hospital and he oversees the dental work there. They have a Kenyan staff of 15 with one Kenyan dentist. Their goals are to provide high quality care for the missionaries on the field and train and disciple Kenyans. Warren provides Kenyan dentists with a 3 year internship. These dentists then are some of the best in Kenya. The discipleship that they receive allows them to become leaders in their churches throughout Kenya. Warren also trains and disciples dental assistants. To facilitate the discipleship they have an hour of devotions every morning before work commences. They use dentistry to open doors to the Gospel in areas that are resistant or hard to reach by traditional means. This mainly is through dental outreach to predominantly Muslim areas.

Warren and Miriam attend the local Africa Inland Church (AIC) and the Rift Valley Academy (RVA) services.  The AIC church is mostly African of local Kikuyu heritage.  They have an English and Kikuyu service.  The RVA church is geared to the missionary kids at the boarding school.

The Rich Family is one that the Bible Church has supported for many years as they worked in Kenya. Enjoy a little history; Warren Rich will be in country soon and we hope to report more about his ministry in Kenya. Enjoy this history of the Riches walk with God.
