Update from the Bagge Family

We arrived in Kenya Sept. 30 and jumped right into work with Dick presenting a module on managing conflict to our colleagues as part of a new orientation program for the staff at SIL. In early November we had extended conversations with all our SIL Africa entity directors and their spouses when they came to Nairobi for a triennial meeting. The quality of leadership they give in their countries of assignment, their care for their staff, and some of the hardships they encounter is impressive. Having made personal contact with each one will make future consultation with them easier.

As we write this, we are packing up our lives and our belongings in Wheaton, IL, heading to extended family in PA and NJ. From there we will visit friends and churches on the East coast and say goodbye to our two young adult children. For the first time we will return to Africa without either of them.
