Spiritual Gifts
What can I do when I serve?
Spiritual gifts are divine empowerments, or abilities, that have been
given to each believer by God. As you begin to serve, you will begin to
discern an increasing awareness of your gifts -- through God's leading,
and through the affirmation of those with whom you serve. These gifts
are given as 'the manifestation of the spirit ... for the common good.'
The gift is the Holy Spirit working in and through you!
As you look at definitions for various spiritual gifts, remember that
these represent unique expressions of the Holy Spirit. The way the Holy
Spirit works through you is unique to you. How does God want to work
through you to impact the lives of others?
Listed below are some of the ways the Holy Spirit works through believers
