Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Romans 12:1 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 The body of Christ, His Church, is a unique and dynamic organism! Each member of the Body has a vital purpose, and is absolutely necessary for the body to function well. Each member has been given particular gifts, abilities, and interests that, when invested in the ministry & mission of God's Kingdom, have an opportunity to change the world. Having an understanding of your giftedness can help you as you seek opportunities for service. The journey begins as we seek to learn more about:
Spiritual Gifts:
the 'what do I do' - what am I gifted to do?
Passion/Interest: the 'where do I serve' - where do I want to make a difference? Personal style: the 'how do I serve' - how am I wired to work best? God has indeed 'wired' you to serve in a way that is unique to you - and both the Body and the world need what only you can offer.
