Welcome to Small Group Ministry

Welcome to the Small Group Ministry website for the Chapel Hill Bible Church. We believe that small groups are an essential and vital part of our church community and, as such, we want to make it easy for you to get involved in a small group if that is your desire.

At our church, the Small Group Ministry is something of an inter-ministry ministry, spanning the other primary ministry areas of our church from the Youth Program through University and Young Adult to the Adult Ministry. And if you're looking for an inter-generational small group, we have several of those as well. Our small groups are largely autonomous, selecting their own study material, meeting times, and group emphases—ranging from accountability groups of 3-4 people to fellowship groups with 20-30 people. Other small group emphases include Bible study, mission and service, prayer, and spiritual growth.

It is our desire at Chapel Hill Bible Church to allow small groups to be what they desire in order to meet the needs of their group members. It is also our desire to provide training opportunities for leaders, physical resources for groups (i.e. suggestions for study guides, study videos, book recommendations), and spiritual and emotional support.

We know that there are many different means of serving God and growing in relationship with Him and with others. For many, small groups offer an excellent springboard for growth, ministry, care, and accountability. But we realize that small groups aren't for everyone.

So, if you're interested in a small group. Great! We hope these pages help you to get connected with one. And if you're not interested in a small group, that's great too. There are many other opportunities at the church for growth, ministry, care, and accountability. Please let us know if you need help in finding those opportunities.
