This is our first day of class as 2nd graders!

We're learning about God creating the world, and about being good stewards of His creation. Before our Bible story, we have our choice of interesting activities that involve all of our senses. We are all unique creations, too, so our teacher wants to offer choices that appeal to our different interests and favorite ways to learn.

God's Creation is so varied! We use all our senses to explore it.

We touch the shells - some are smooth, some are rough. We notice the shapes - round, spiral, thin, even a seahorse!

Talking about it with my friends makes it more interesting.

Some of us touch the turtles! Their shells are hard and the way they move is so funny. They are very different from us in many ways, yet God made them, too.

Books tell us a lot about parts of Creation that we can't bring into our Sunday School classroom. They bring information into our minds through our eyes.

They also provide pictures that inspire our own creative paintings.

Fitting the pieces of this pretty puzzle together gets us to focus on the details that the artist put into his painting. Think of all the details God put into His Creation!

And did I mention that it was fun?!

Discover the Core Values of the Children's Sunday School Program.

This looks so fun! I'd love to help!
