Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Thank you for your faithful support of the ministries of the Chapel Hill Bible Church in 2007. As I look around our church, my own faith is strengthened as I see the wonder of new believers and the abiding faith and on-going growth of those who have known the Lord longer. God’s spirit is at work in and through our church body.

Our collective faith journey is taking us into uncharted territory for CHBC this year as we project the need to reduce spending about 10% ($250,000) to achieve a balanced budget. Spending cuts are always difficult and often painful, and I covet your daily prayers and engagement in the process as we develop and approve a budget for 2008. I am also excited by the opportunities these changes provide for us to re-evaluate our strengths as a church and engage members of our body more deeply to participate in ministry opportunities. The annual meeting will take place on Monday, March 3, 2008 with a fellowship/ pot-luck dessert at 6:30, and the business meeting at 7pm.

Your generosity makes a difference not only in your heart relationship with our Lord, but also to His ministries through this church body.
