The Easter Festival

A Celebration of THE RESURRECTION ...

and OUR HOPE OF LIFE TO COME

How do you celebrate the biggest event of history? With the biggest celebration of the year! The Easter festival aims to give everyone a taste of heaven through the arts and multi-sensory worship and celebration!

A Taste of heaven for everyone!

Enjoy fine food and fellowship

Experience the unity of worshiping together in dance. No partner needed!

Hang out with your friends in the Fireside Café and enjoy a variety of music and poetry

Exuberant worship

Children's activities

-- Pilgrim's Progress obstacle course, crafts, pinatas. New this year: an "Asian-flavored" crafts table.

Basketball for the older guys.

Soccer/Futbol for others.

The Easter Festival is a big event! To pull it off, we need most adults and many youth to serve in some way for 30-45 minutes before, during, or after the festival. Each adult or family unit will also need to bring potluck food (one side and one main dish, or three sides).

Ways you can volunteer:

Before the Festival: Mass cooking, set up right after Sunday morning services, cut flowers from your yard for decoration.
During the Festival: Helping in the kitchen.
Food coordinator needed to do some food prep ahead of time
Kitchen coordinator needed to supervise kitchen during festival

We also have an exhibit of visual art themed around Easter, heaven, hope. Contact David Stickel to let him know that you have work to submit at Dlstickel@juno.com.

After the Festival:
- Help the cleanup crew (This is not cleanup purgatory. We have a limited list of cleanup items to do before the professional cleaning crew comes.)
- Reset chairs (Done early in the week after Easter).
