Super Tuesdays
Super Tuesday Suppers
Our gracious Lord has provided many workers to help with the various aspects of these suppers for the past three semesters. If you've been part of the preparation, serving and/or clean up, many thanks to you!
Are you willing to listen to the Lord's leading? This semester we are depending on you to help as you feel led, once, many times, or every week. No one will call you, cajole you or otherwise coerce you into helping, although certainly, a meal for 200 or more people will need many helpers! Please do your part!
The tasks and times are as follows:
Cooks: during the day on Tuesday, (email me as to when you're available at ebgove@earthlink.net)
Washing the dining tables and setting the serving tables: during Sonlight Choir. Please come to the kitchen to wash hands, and find out what's needed
Keeping the serving tables replenished: 6:00 to 6:30
Cashier: 6:00 to 6:30
Clearing away the serving items and washing dishes: 6:45 until finished, usually by 7:45
Folding all the tables and putting them back on the carts: 7:00 until finished, usually by 7:30
Taking out the trash: 7:15
Each diner will be expected to:
-
Come with clean hands
- Use good manners by finishing one's meal at the table, rather than carrying parts elsewhere
- Bus his own place at the table, putting paper trash in the trashcan, tableware in the bus bins, washing his part of the dining table
- Stay in the dining area after finishing one's meal. We are not allowed on the stage or in other areas of the auditorium.
We can all do our parts, have fun, respect each other and take care of the equipment and building, can't we?!
The cost of the meals is the same: $3.00 each or $10.00 per family, whichever is less.
