Being a Woman of Healthy Relationships

A One Day Retreat on Saturday, March 29

8:30am to 3:30pm with optional afternoon or dinner outings

With Guest Speaker- Dee Brestin

We are excited to have Dee Brestin return as our retreat speaker this year. She will speak to us about having healthy relationships with each other, as sisters in Christ, and with our Lord, the Lover of our Souls. Dee is a nationally and internationally recognized author/speaker. She has spent the past 25 years writing, speaking, encouraging and challenging women of all ages, from all stages of life, how to discover a life-changing intimacy with Jesus.

Dee brings to life the truth of God’s Word through her use of real-life stories, humor, and clips from classic musicals. It is often said, “Dee keeps our attention – and helps us see the truth of Scripture as well as hear it.” She feels called to help today’s woman understand the truth of Scripture and to realize that “Jesus is inviting us to a “dance” – He longs for us to hear the music and to let Him lead.” In her Bible studies and in her speaking, Dee helps women abandon themselves to “the Lord of the dance.”

Dee and her husband Steve enjoyed 39 years of marriage until the Lord called Steve home in October of 2004 after a 16-month battle with colon cancer. Dee has 5 children, and 4 grandchildren. She currently lives in Kearney, Nebraska.
