Wrestling with God: Jacob’s Story – Our Story

Saturday, April 19, 2008, 9am-3:30pm

A MHGS Conference with Dan B. Allender, PhD

What if you could lead and live in relationship with God and others in passionate, life-giving ways?

Join Dr. Allender as he considers the Genesis narrative of Jacob. It’s a story laden with all the conflict, tension, struggle, and frustration of life. It’s the story of a leader who wrestled with God and came out limping. He also received a new name. This is a story that’s ours. It’s a story our culture, our church, our communities need to see lived out – in vulnerability, in tenderness, in strength! Wrestle with God as Jacob did. You’ll never be the same.
