Vacation Bible School (VBS) at CHBC

VBS Sky is on it's way to the Bible Church this June!
I am so excited to share Jesus with children and volunteers through this amazing ministry, and you should be too. This fun-filled week of sharing the infectious love of Christ can and does change lives in our community.
Let me tell you why VBS is such an important and vital ministry to the children in this community and their families! When children arrive at VBS, they are in for an adventurous morning of non-stop fun learning about a God who loves them beyond measure. Classes rotate between stations that emphasize a story from scripture accenting the overall theme that no matter what happens in our lives we can always trust God. Games, crafts, snacks, interactive storytelling, strong questions about missions and who Jesus is, singing and crazy dancing ~ this VBS has it all!
Not only can you pray for this ministry, but yes, even you can be involved :) Please don't think that this week of VBS is only for those who have children, or who have experience teaching in a classroom. The children who are coming this summer need volunteers to help set up, clean up, bring in supplies, hang out with their classes as youth volunteers and teacher assistants. Are you filled with spirit and a slight competitive drive? Games could be a great place where you could find a way to reach out to care for these kids. Crafty? Into Drama? Have a serious passion for decorating? Oh my! We have a niche for everyone who is willing to give a little love and time, please pray about your giftings and time availability this June. I would love to see our church rise up as a community to take on this beautiful task set before us.
