There is no replacement for studying the Scriptures. As a supplement, however, there is a large body of Christian literature that is edifying and instructive.For centuries the church has enjoyed the authoring talents of scholars, storytellers,and teachers.
Available as books, magazines, or media, Christian literature falls into various broad categories including apologetics, biography, devotional, fiction and theology. The CHBC Library offers a small but well-rounded collection of such materials.
- Open whenever CHBC is open
- Library is self-serve
- Loan period is one month, and is renewable
- No fines are levied for late items (borrowers are charged with remembering that others might be waiting for a certain book)
- The collection grows through the acquisition of donated materials. Items that don't fit the collection, or are duplicates of materials currently on the shelf are sold at church book sales.
