Whoever welcomes one of these little children in My name welcomes me. --Jesus
It is our joy to welcome your child in the name of Jesus! We want nursery to be a place where the tiniest among us can experience the love of Christ through his body. We want parents to be able to worship without distraction, confident that their precious child is safe in loving hands. The nursery ministry operates during both worship services in rooms 256 and 258.

Angela, a mom of four, is our volunteer nursery coordinator and supervises first service. |

The nursery ministry is overseen by a volunteer supervisor, who serves weekly. Because she is there weekly, she gets to know parents and children and thus is our first line of child security. She also supervises what is happening in each nursery room. Parents sign in and give us a 4 digit code (can be any four digit number you will remember e.g. the last 4 digits of your phone number.) which we use, if needed, to page parents in the auditorium.

Here's a peek inside our infant room. (Some volunteers are out of view). In addition to the supervisor who serves weekly, we strive to have at least one volunteer who also serves weekly in each room, so that someone knows the individual personality and needs of each child.
Newcomers are asked to please stop at the welcome table for the children's ministry, located at the top of the stairwell, to register your children for nursery or Sunday school classes.

Our toddler room. Oh, the wonder of bubbles!
Nursery Alternatives
Some parents may prefer to keep their young children with them during a service. There are three alternatives to the nursery:
Infants and young children are always welcome in the auditorium during the service. Please be aware of the noise level of your youngster, however. Even happy noises can distract people around you from worship.
If your infant or young child begins to be restless during the service, you may take him or her to the Family Room, adjacent to the auditorium with a glass wall and an audio link to the service. Here your child can move about while you can still see and hear what is happening in the service. This is located in the back right of the auditorium (as you are seated, looking toward the stage) and can be reached by exiting the auditorium into the corridor. Please keep chatting with other adults to a minimum and be aware that excessive noise in the Family Room can distract other parents with their young children. A child who is inconsolable or very exuberant should be taken to another part of the building where his or her noise will not disturb anyone. Sick children are not permitted in the Family Room.
The Nursing Mothers' Room provides a cozy, private environment for nursing mothers. It is located across the hall from the front left entrance to the of the auditorium (as you are seated and looking toward the front), near the kitchen. The "back door" of the Nursing Mother's Room opens next to the main women's restroom. We have provided FM audiofeed so that you can hear the service. As in the Family Room, be aware that other mothers may want to tune in to the service, and try to keep chatting to a minimum.
