There aren't many people around you who understand the pain your divorce or separation has caused. To you. Your family. Your friends.

That's the reason for DivorceCare. It's a series of support groups and seminars conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing. Most importantly, you'll learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.

DivorceCare is nondenominational and features biblical teaching for recovering from divorce and separation. It is an ongoing flexible ministry program allowing individuals to join anytime.

At DivorceCare, you will become a part of a small support group of people who are also experiencing separation and divorce. By interacting with these people, you'll learn there are others who understand what you are feeling and will be able to offer you encouragement. You'll also have a chance to talk about the information presented during the seminar. Many participants say these support groups are the most helpful part of the program.

The leadership team for DivorceCare consists of people who understand how you feel and have a real concern for individuals who are experiencing separation and divorce.

DivorceCare meets once a year beginning the Tuesday after Labor Day week-end.   Childcare provided upon request. A new series begins September 13, 2011 and runs for 13 weeks.

Divorce Care 4 Kids

DC4K—Divorce Care for Kids (ages 5-12)

DC4K is a 13 week program that helps children express their thoughts and feelings associated with divorce. In the nurturing environment provided each week children quite often share their feelings regarding divorce. We want that experience for our children, as well as children in our community who are affected by divorce.

This class is being offered fall of 2011, starting 9/13, at 6:45pm.

The evening consists of a weekly topic, relevant activities such as games, crafts, role playing, discussion, journaling, etc. The program offers special music, theme based snack and read aloud stories. If you or someone you know could benefit from being a part of the DC4K community, please join us September 13th.
