“October Storm”

Being from New England I just had to make a Fall-colored quilt. This one hangs in my dark-toned dining room. It is designed around a “log-cabin” pattern. The blocks are placed to form a “bolt of lightening” from top right to left in the black and brown fabrics. Fall leaves were embroidered on top- some embellished with bead and/or crewel hand work.
