I believe the basis of all my art is a dance with god. The love I have
inside myself reveals itself through what I see is a creation from out
higher being. >From this beauty, my paintbrush is guided through a
talent that has been given to me. I enjoy expressing this gift. The spirit
of love lives in us and however we choose to worship, and connect is
our own personal dance with god.
Lori Skoumal is a watercolor
artist. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with
special honors. She has four children and enjoys teaching children art
at the Carrboro ArtsCenter, CHCCS Summer Enrichment Program, and Meadowmont
Satellite program. Lori paints in her at-home studio. She has written
and illustrated a children’s literature book called The Magical
Sucker. She sells her paintings and note cards at <www.magicpress.org>.
