“My Garden
in May”
Lori Easterlin
Watercolor and Pencil
My perennial garden in May is colorful and fresh and high spirited!
The Baptisia in my garden inspired me to paint this piece as each May
I eagerly anticipate the buds shooting up and then swaying with the breeze.
I like to think that the flowers in my garden are "dancing with
God" in celebration of a new spring each year.
Lori Easterlin is a watercolor

and an MBA from the University of Florida. She began to draw and paint
two years ago under the instruction of Luna Lee Ray at the Arts Center
in Carrboro. Lori’s work is shown through various group shows in
Chapel Hill as well as at "Oooh La Latte" in Durham.
