What do you enjoy most about your job? With the help of Jesus, working with people, and helping people.
Who is important in your life? My wife
Kathy; my five adult children, Susanna, Peter, John Mark,
Michael, and David; and my grandchildren, MacKenzie, Lacey,
and Russell. They are the most important people in my life.
I have great friends in the church, as well.
What are your hobbies or interests? I like playing golf; I enjoy reading about the Civil War and Abraham Lincoln.
What is your favorite book? One of my favorite books is The Master Plan of Evangelism by Robert Coleman, which tells how Jesus invested in his followers.
What is your favorite movie? One of my
favorite movies is Forrest Gump, for its tour of
late 20th century American culture and history, plus the
transparent humility and naiveté of the main character.
For fun I enjoy ... eating meals with my
family, going to a movie with my wife and friends, and playing
golf and doing things with my sons. I have really enjoyed planting
a church in Chatham
