| What do you enjoy most about your job?
After working 33 years at UNC, it is a thrill to support my church. It's
an honor to work with such wonderful people. They are truly the same during
the week as they are on Sundays!
Who is important in your life? Joy of my life is my
grandson, “PJ” (Paul Jason) Cook. My daughter Patrice and
husband Jason live in Durham so it's wonderful to have them close by.
I'm fortunate to still have both parents who are living in a retirement
village in Winston-Salem. My husband passed away many years ago but also
blessed me with three stepchildren; the youngest is Brent Mitchell, who
along with his family also attend CHBC.
What are your hobbies or interests?
Knitting and hanging out with my family.
What is your favorite book? (besides the Bible)
The Mitford Series by Jan Karon
What is your favorite movie?
The Notebook
For fun I enjoy... traveling (even short distances)!! I especially
enjoy trips to the beach!!
