Brent Clark
Pastor for Administration
What do you enjoy most about your job? I
have a opportunity to see God work things out for
good - both for our church and in my own life - as I help
to marshall our resources to achieve the goals of God's kingdom
in our midst and through the Bible Church.
Who is important in your life? My wife
and children, certainly. We are thankful for the care of
so many, and very moved by God's love shown through our friends.
What are your hobbies or interests? Bridge
may be a four-person game, but I can play it by myself if
necessary! I also love camping (and Dutch oven cooking in
the fire pit), do-it-yourself home projects, reading, and
NASCAR (the last usually through my eyelids, I'm sorry to
say!).
What is your favorite book? Watership Down.
What is your favorite movie? Um ... this
is not really an important question, is it? I mean, movies?
Well, OK ... my second favorite movie is anything that my
wife thinks is hilarious (because it's so much fun to watch
a funny movie with her)!
In late 2006 Brent was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
He underwent surgery in February 2007, and we rejoice at
his progress since then. As with any brain
surgery, full recovery takes years, and we look forward
to watching God work in Brent - and in our church - as
we travel that road together. |
